Manufacturing feasibility depends on the actual component requirements, including geometry, material, quantity, tolerances, finishing, inspection and other applicable specifications.

Project-specific requirements should therefore be confirmed through technical review and the relevant quotation, drawing, specification, order confirmation or other agreed project documentation.

2.4

Prohibited Use

You must not knowingly use this website for unlawful, fraudulent or harmful activity, attempt to compromise its systems, security, content or availability, or use the website in a manner that infringes the rights of Gulf Precision Works or any third party.

Unauthorised access attempts, malicious software, excessive automated requests, systematic scraping, extraction or reproduction of website content, or other activity that may interfere with the normal operation of the website are prohibited.

2.5

Website Availability

We endeavour to maintain reasonable availability of the website, but uninterrupted or error-free access is not guaranteed.

Website content or functionality may be modified, suspended, restricted or temporarily unavailable because of maintenance, security, technical, hosting, operational or other requirements.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Gulf Precision Works will not be responsible solely for temporary website unavailability, transmission interruptions or technical failures outside its reasonable control.

2.6

Downloads & Website Materials

Brochures, guides, technical documents and other materials made available through this website are provided for their stated purpose and remain subject to any conditions accompanying them.

Unless otherwise expressly agreed in writing, manufacturing associated with Gulf Precision Works projects is carried out through manufacturing operations based in India.

Gulf Precision Works provides UAE-facing marketing, commercial and customer coordination and may serve customers across Dubai, the UAE, GCC and other international markets.

3.8

No Order Until Confirmed

A quotation describes the proposed supply of the stated scope on the commercial and technical terms identified in that quotation and does not by itself constitute an accepted manufacturing order.

A customer purchase order, acceptance of a quotation or other instruction to proceed does not by itself require Gulf Precision Works to commence manufacturing.

An order becomes binding only when the applicable requirements have been expressly accepted or confirmed by Gulf Precision Works in writing in accordance with the agreed commercial process.

3.9

Quotation Errors & Revisions

Gulf Precision Works may correct clerical, typographical, calculation or administrative errors identified in a quotation or related commercial document.

Where an error, omission, material cost change, availability issue or other circumstance materially affects the quoted scope, price or delivery basis before an order has been formally accepted, Gulf Precision Works may withdraw, amend or reissue the quotation.

IMPORTANT
The issued quotation defines the project-specific scope.

Customers should review the applicable drawing revision, material, quantity, tolerances, finishing, inspection, documentation, pricing, currency and delivery terms before confirming an order.

04
ORDER & TECHNICAL CONTROL

Orders & Specifications

Requirements governing order acceptance, drawings, specifications, revisions and changes to manufacturing requirements.

ORDER CONTROL PRINCIPLE

Manufacture against clearly defined requirements.

01 Quotation Defined commercial and technical scope
02 Order Customer confirms the required scope
03 Specification Applicable drawings and requirements identified
04 Production Manufacturing proceeds against accepted requirements
4.1

Order Acceptance

A customer purchase order, acceptance of a quotation or other instruction to proceed is subject to review against the applicable quotation, specifications and project requirements.

An order becomes binding only when Gulf Precision Works expressly accepts or confirms the order in writing.

Gulf Precision Works is not required to commence manufacturing until any agreed preconditions, including required technical clarification, customer approvals or applicable payment conditions, have been satisfied.

4.2

Customer Specifications

The customer is responsible for providing sufficient, accurate and current information to define the component or service required.

This may include drawings, CAD models, material specifications, quantities, tolerances, surface requirements, inspection criteria, documentation requirements and other relevant technical information.

The customer is responsible for verifying that the submitted specifications are suitable for the customer's intended application and for communicating any regulatory, safety-critical or industry-specific requirements before order acceptance.

4.3

Drawing & Revision Control

Where drawings or other controlled documents contain revision identifiers, the applicable revision must be clearly identified when the order is placed.

Updated drawings, CAD models or specifications must be clearly communicated and distinguished from previously supplied or superseded versions.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, Gulf Precision Works may rely on the latest revision expressly identified and accepted for the relevant order.

4.4

Conflicting Information

If supplied drawings, CAD models, purchase orders, specifications or other project documents appear inconsistent, clarification may be requested before the affected work proceeds.

Work may be placed on hold until the discrepancy has been resolved in writing.

No drawing, CAD file, purchase order, email or other project document should be assumed to override another unless the applicable priority has been expressly agreed or confirmed by Gulf Precision Works in writing.

4.5

Changes After Order Acceptance

Requests to change an accepted order, including changes to design, material, quantity, tolerance, finish, inspection, documentation or delivery requirements, are subject to review.

A requested change may affect manufacturing feasibility, price, material already purchased, tooling, production status, inspection requirements or delivery schedule.

Gulf Precision Works may suspend the affected work until the technical and commercial impact of the requested change has been agreed in writing.

4.6

Material & Process Requirements

Where a specific material grade, manufacturing process, surface treatment, inspection method or supporting document is required, that requirement should be identified before the order is accepted.

Alternative materials or processes should not be treated as approved unless the relevant change has been agreed where customer approval is required.

Where certification, material test reports, inspection records or other supporting documentation are required, those requirements must be specified before quotation or order acceptance unless subsequently agreed in writing.

4.7

Customer-Requested Cancellation

A request to cancel an accepted order is subject to Gulf Precision Works' written acceptance and will be assessed according to the project status at the time the request is received.

The customer may remain responsible for reasonable costs already incurred or irrevocably committed in connection with the order, including materials, tooling, programming, engineering, external processes, manufacturing, inspection, packaging and other project-specific work.

Custom-manufactured goods already completed or substantially completed may not be cancellable except where otherwise agreed in writing.

4.8

Customer Approval

Where a project requires customer approval of drawings, samples, technical clarifications, first-off parts or other information before work can proceed, the relevant activity may remain suspended until the required approval is received.

Any delay in receiving customer approval, clarification or other required information may result in a corresponding adjustment to production or delivery dates, and previously quoted lead times may require reconfirmation.

4.9

Written Instructions

Material changes to an accepted order, drawing, specification, quantity, process, inspection requirement or delivery instruction should be confirmed in writing.

Verbal discussions do not amend an accepted project requirement unless subsequently confirmed or accepted in writing by Gulf Precision Works.

4.10

Work Already in Progress

Where manufacturing, material procurement, programming, tooling or external processing has already commenced, subsequent changes requested by the customer may not be capable of implementation without additional cost, delay, scrap, rework or replacement of previously completed work.

Any resulting commercial or schedule impact will be reviewed and communicated before the revised requirement is implemented where reasonably practicable.

REVISION CONTROL Send revised drawings before the affected work proceeds.

Clearly identifying superseded and current revisions helps reduce ambiguity and supports controlled manufacturing against the intended specification.

Delivery destination, shipping method, freight arrangements and related requirements will be determined according to the applicable quotation, order confirmation or other agreed transaction documentation.

Where an Incoterm is expressly stated, the specified Incoterm, named place and applicable edition will apply to the extent identified in the relevant transaction documents.

No particular delivery basis or shipping method should be assumed unless it has been expressly agreed in writing.

5.2

Delivery & Dispatch Dates

Delivery, dispatch or estimated arrival dates communicated during quotation or order processing are based on the project information and circumstances known at the relevant time.

Unless expressly guaranteed in writing, stated dates are estimates and do not constitute an unconditional guarantee that goods will arrive on a particular date.

Production and delivery dates may require reconfirmation following changes to specifications, customer approvals, payment conditions or other matters affecting the order.

5.3

Factors Affecting Delivery

Delivery timing may be affected by customer approvals, specification changes, material availability, external processing, inspection requirements, carrier availability, transportation, customs procedures, regulatory requirements or other circumstances affecting the project or shipment.

Where a material change or delay becomes known, Gulf Precision Works may review the applicable delivery schedule and communicate a revised estimate where reasonably practicable.

GPW will not be responsible solely for delays caused by circumstances outside its reasonable control, subject to applicable law and any expressly agreed transaction terms.

5.4

Customs, Duties & Import Requirements

International shipments may be subject to customs procedures, import duties, taxes, clearance fees, permits, product requirements and other destination-country requirements.

Responsibility for customs clearance, duties, taxes, permits, import formalities and the importer-of-record role will depend on the agreed delivery terms, transaction documents and applicable law.

Customers are responsible for providing any destination-specific information, permits, registration details or documentation that they are required to supply for import or clearance purposes.

5.5

Risk, Title & Insurance

Responsibility for loss or damage during transportation will be determined by the delivery terms expressly agreed for the relevant order, including any applicable Incoterm.

Transfer of risk and transfer of legal title or ownership are separate matters and need not occur at the same time. Any applicable ownership or title provisions will be determined by the transaction documents and applicable law.

Responsibility for arranging cargo or transit insurance will depend on the agreed delivery basis. Customers should not assume that insurance is included unless expressly stated.

5.6

Inspection on Receipt

Customers should inspect delivered components, packaging and accompanying documentation within a reasonable period after receipt and, where practicable, before the components are installed, processed, modified or placed into service.

Any apparent shortage, transit damage, incorrect item, packaging damage or other visible discrepancy should be reported as soon as reasonably practicable together with relevant supporting information.

Delay in reporting an apparent transit or quantity discrepancy may affect the ability to investigate the matter with the carrier or other relevant parties.

5.7

Technical Non-Conformity

If a customer believes that supplied components do not conform to an agreed drawing, specification or other accepted requirement, the issue should be communicated with sufficient information to allow technical review.

Supporting information may include the affected part number, drawing revision, order reference, quantity affected, photographs, measurement results or other relevant evidence.

Components associated with a reported non-conformity should, where reasonably possible, be retained in their received condition and should not be altered, reworked, destroyed or returned until appropriate review or instructions have been provided.

5.8

Returns & Corrective Action

Components should not be returned without prior coordination and, where applicable, return instructions or authorisation from Gulf Precision Works.

Where a reported non-conformity is confirmed following technical review, the appropriate corrective action may include inspection, rework, replacement, credit or another mutually agreed remedy, depending on the circumstances, applicable order terms and legal requirements.

No particular remedy should be assumed before the reported condition has been reviewed and confirmed.

5.9

Customer Availability & Failed Delivery

The customer is responsible for providing an accurate delivery address, appropriate contact details and any information reasonably required to complete delivery or customs clearance.

Where delivery cannot be completed because of incorrect customer information, refusal of delivery, unavailable receiving facilities, missing customer documentation or another matter within the customer's reasonable control, additional storage, redelivery, freight or handling costs may be chargeable where applicable.

5.10

Partial or Split Deliveries

Where commercially or operationally appropriate, an order may be delivered in separate shipments where this has been agreed or reasonably coordinated with the customer.

Any material effect on freight charges, customs arrangements, invoicing or delivery dates arising from a split shipment should be addressed in the applicable transaction documentation or agreed with the customer.

6.1

Customer Drawings & Designs

Drawings, CAD models, specifications, designs and other technical information supplied by a customer remain subject to the ownership and intellectual property rights of the customer or applicable rights holder unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Submission of such information to Gulf Precision Works does not by itself transfer ownership of the underlying design, copyright, patent rights, confidential information or other intellectual property.

6.2

Permission to Use Project Information

By submitting project information, the customer authorises its use to the extent reasonably necessary to evaluate the enquiry, prepare a quotation and, where an order is accepted, manufacture, inspect, document, package, deliver and otherwise fulfil the relevant project.

This permission does not constitute a transfer of ownership of the customer's design or other intellectual property.

6.3

Manufacturing & Service Providers

Project information may be disclosed to manufacturing operations, subcontractors, inspection providers, finishing providers, logistics providers or other service providers only to the extent reasonably necessary to evaluate or fulfil the relevant project.

Such disclosure does not transfer ownership of the customer's intellectual property and remains subject to the applicable confidentiality and project requirements.

6.4

Customer Authority

The customer is responsible for ensuring that it has the necessary ownership, licence, permission or other authority to provide drawings, designs, CAD files, specifications and other information submitted for quotation or manufacture.

Customers must not knowingly submit material for manufacture where the requested use would infringe the intellectual property or other proprietary rights of a third party.

Gulf Precision Works may request clarification or supporting information where the authority to use particular technical information is reasonably in question.

6.5

Manufacturing Know-How

Unless otherwise expressly agreed in writing, manufacturing methods, machining strategies, programming approaches, process knowledge, fixturing concepts, tooling concepts, production techniques, inspection methods and similar manufacturing know-how independently developed or used in fulfilling a project remain with the relevant owner.

Manufacture of a customer-designed component does not by itself transfer independently developed manufacturing or process know-how to the customer.

6.6

GPW-Created Project Materials

Unless otherwise expressly agreed in writing, internal manufacturing documentation, process planning, machining programs, setup methods, tooling concepts, inspection planning and other materials independently created for the purpose of producing a component remain subject to the rights of Gulf Precision Works or the relevant manufacturing or technical provider.

Payment for manufactured components does not automatically transfer ownership of such internal production materials unless their transfer has been specifically included in the agreed project scope.

6.7

GPW Website & Brand Content

Unless otherwise indicated, original text, graphics, page layouts, branding, logos, photographs and other original content published on this website are owned by or used with permission by Gulf Precision Works.

Website content may be viewed and used for legitimate informational purposes but must not be copied, modified, presented as another party's work or commercially redistributed in a manner that infringes applicable intellectual property rights.

6.8

Customer Projects & Publicity

Customer drawings, CAD files, proprietary specifications and other confidential technical information will not be treated as GPW marketing material merely because they have been submitted for quotation or manufacture.

Gulf Precision Works will not intentionally publish identifiable customer drawings or other customer-proprietary technical information for advertising, portfolio or promotional purposes without appropriate permission or another lawful basis to do so.

6.9

Third-Party Rights

Trade marks, product names, technical standards, documents, software, specifications or other third-party materials referenced on the website or in connection with a project remain subject to the rights and applicable licence terms of their respective owners.

Reference to third-party materials, standards, companies or products does not imply ownership of those rights by Gulf Precision Works.

6.10

Project-Specific IP Agreements

Where a project requires specific intellectual property, licensing, tooling ownership, design ownership, development rights, exclusivity or usage arrangements, those requirements must be separately agreed in writing.

Expressly agreed project-specific intellectual property terms will prevail over these general provisions to the extent of any inconsistency.

IMPORTANT DISTINCTION
Customer design rights and manufacturing know-how are separate intellectual property matters.

Manufacturing a component from a customer's drawing does not normally transfer ownership of that drawing to GPW, nor does it automatically transfer independently developed manufacturing processes, programming, production methods or know-how to the customer.

07

7.9

Return or Deletion Requests

A customer may request the return or deletion of particular confidential project information, subject to any applicable contractual, legal, quality, regulatory, technical or record-retention requirements.

Such a request does not require deletion of information that must reasonably be retained for completed transactions, compliance, evidentiary purposes, backups or legitimate business records where retention is permitted by applicable requirements.

7.10

Non-Disclosure Agreements

Submission of an enquiry, drawing, CAD file or other material through the website does not by itself create a separate non-disclosure agreement between the parties.

Where enhanced or project-specific confidentiality obligations are required, those obligations should be established through a separate written NDA, customer confidentiality agreement or other expressly agreed written terms.

Where an NDA or other confidentiality agreement has been expressly agreed, its terms will apply to the relevant information and will prevail over these general provisions to the extent of any inconsistency.

7.11

Customer-Specific Security Requirements

Customers should identify any specific confidentiality, cybersecurity, data-handling, export-control, access-control or disclosure requirements applicable to their project before submitting highly sensitive information or before the relevant order proceeds.

Requirements exceeding ordinary commercial project handling must be reviewed and expressly agreed in writing before they are treated as part of the accepted project scope.

8.1

Project Technical Requirements

Components are manufactured against the technical requirements applicable to the accepted order, including relevant drawings, drawing revisions, specifications and expressly agreed project requirements.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that critical dimensions, tolerances, materials, finishes, inspection requirements and other essential technical criteria are clearly identified before production.

8.2

Tolerances

Achievable machining tolerances depend on factors including component geometry, size, material, manufacturing process, feature accessibility and the characteristics being controlled.

Any tolerance stated generally on the website should not be interpreted as automatically applicable to every feature or component. Required tolerances must be defined in the applicable project documentation and confirmed through technical review where necessary.

8.3

Inspection & Verification

Inspection activities will be determined according to the component requirements, applicable quality controls and any specific inspection requirements agreed for the relevant order.

Where a customer requires a particular inspection method, inspection level, sampling arrangement, measurement report or other verification activity, that requirement should be identified before order acceptance.

Inspection scope should not be assumed to include every dimension or characteristic unless full inspection or another defined inspection level has been expressly included in the agreed scope.

8.4

Measurement & Verification Limits

Measurement results can be affected by factors including inspection method, equipment capability, environmental conditions, datum interpretation, part condition and measurement uncertainty.

Where a customer requires a particular measurement method, reporting format, equipment capability, acceptance rule or measurement uncertainty requirement, it should be expressly identified and agreed for the project.

8.5

Material Requirements & Traceability

Where a project requires a particular material grade, specification, source documentation, batch identification or traceability requirement, it must be clearly identified in the applicable project documentation.

Material certificates, mill certificates, test reports or other supporting records are supplied only where expressly included in the agreed project scope or subsequently confirmed in writing.

Customers requiring specific document formats, revision controls, signatures, content, traceability information or supporting records should identify those requirements before order acceptance wherever reasonably possible.

8.7

Certifications & Standards

References to certifications, quality standards or compliance frameworks apply only to the specific entity, facility, process or scope covered by the relevant valid certification or other supporting documentation.

A certification held by a manufacturing entity, facility or service provider should not be interpreted as certification of Gulf Precision Works itself unless the applicable certificate expressly identifies Gulf Precision Works as the certified entity.

Customers requiring manufacture, inspection or documentation under a particular standard or certification must identify that requirement before order acceptance and obtain written confirmation that it can be supported for the relevant project.

8.8

Website Capability Information

Information published on the Gulf Precision Works website concerning machining processes, materials, tolerances, equipment, inspection or manufacturing capabilities is intended to provide general capability information.

Such information does not constitute confirmation that every capability, tolerance, material, inspection method or process is suitable or available for every component.

Project feasibility, manufacturing method and inspection requirements remain subject to technical review and the accepted project scope.

8.9

Prototype & First-Off Approval

Where a project requires prototype approval, first-off inspection, sample approval or another customer acceptance stage before continuing production, that requirement should be identified before the relevant order is accepted.

Production may remain on hold until the required approval is received, and delays in receiving customer approval may affect the applicable production or delivery schedule.

Approval of a prototype or first-off component confirms only the matters covered by the agreed approval process and does not amend other applicable drawing or specification requirements unless expressly agreed in writing.

8.10

Technical Clarification

Where a drawing, CAD model, specification, tolerance or quality requirement is unclear, incomplete or appears inconsistent, clarification may be requested before the affected manufacturing or inspection activity proceeds.

Work may be suspended where reasonably necessary until the relevant technical requirement has been clarified.

Any clarification that changes an accepted technical requirement should be documented appropriately for the relevant order.

8.11

Reported Non-Conformity

Where a customer reports that a component does not conform to an accepted requirement, sufficient information should be provided to allow technical review, including the affected part, drawing revision, quantity, characteristic and supporting inspection or measurement information where available.

A reported condition will be assessed against the applicable accepted drawing, specification, order requirements and relevant inspection information.

Corrective action, where required, will be determined following review of the confirmed non-conformity and the applicable commercial and technical terms.

QA
PROJECT-SPECIFIC QUALITY Website capability does not replace an accepted engineering specification.

The applicable drawing, revision, material specification, tolerances, inspection requirements, approval requirements and agreed quality documentation define the technical basis for each manufacturing order.

9.4

Installation, Modification & End Use

Unless expressly included in the agreed project scope, Gulf Precision Works is not responsible for the customer's assembly, installation, integration, modification, machining, treatment, maintenance or use of supplied components after delivery.

Responsibility for determining whether a component is suitable for a particular assembly, machine, product, safety-critical function or operating environment remains with the customer unless GPW has expressly accepted responsibility for that determination in writing.

9.5

Third-Party Services

A project may involve transportation, material supply, heat treatment, coating, finishing, testing, inspection, logistics or other services performed by third parties.

Responsibility relating to those services will depend on the agreed project scope, applicable delivery terms, relevant contractual arrangements and applicable law.

Where third-party services form part of GPW's agreed supply scope, any confirmed issue will be reviewed in accordance with the applicable order terms rather than treated automatically as a separate or unlimited liability.

9.6

Indirect & Business Losses

To the extent permitted by applicable law and subject to any expressly agreed project-specific terms, Gulf Precision Works will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential commercial loss arising from use of the website or a commercial transaction.

This may include loss of profit, revenue, production, anticipated savings, business opportunity, goodwill, contract or other consequential business loss where such exclusion is legally permitted.

9.7

Aggregate Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law and unless a different liability arrangement has been expressly agreed in writing, Gulf Precision Works' aggregate liability arising from a specific order will not exceed the amount paid or payable to Gulf Precision Works for the affected order.

This limitation applies to the aggregate of claims arising from the same affected order and does not apply to liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.

9.8

Events Beyond Reasonable Control

Neither party should be treated as responsible for delay or failure caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control to the extent recognised by applicable law or the relevant contractual arrangements.

Such circumstances may include major transportation disruption, governmental action, customs or trade restrictions, natural events, fire, flood, widespread utility or infrastructure failure, major supply disruption or other comparable circumstances outside reasonable control.

Where such circumstances materially affect an order, applicable production, delivery or other contractual dates may require reasonable adjustment.

9.9

No Unstated Warranty

No statement, illustration, example, capability description or other material published on this website should be interpreted as creating a project-specific warranty, certification commitment, guaranteed performance level or fitness-for-purpose obligation unless that obligation has been expressly agreed in writing for the relevant project.

Any expressly agreed warranty or remedy will apply according to the scope and conditions stated in the relevant commercial documentation.

9.10

Mitigation of Loss

Where an issue arises in connection with a project, each party should take reasonable steps to avoid or reduce preventable loss, additional damage or unnecessary cost.

Customers should not knowingly continue to install, modify, process or use components after becoming aware of a condition that may materially increase the resulting loss or damage, where stopping such activity is reasonably practicable.

9.11

Project-Specific Liability Terms

A quotation, order confirmation, supply agreement or other expressly agreed written contract may contain project-specific warranties, remedies, indemnities, insurance requirements or liability provisions.

Where such terms have been expressly agreed, they will apply to the relevant project and will prevail over these general provisions to the extent of any inconsistency.

9.12

Mandatory Legal Rights

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to exclude, restrict or limit any liability, remedy or legal right that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or limited under applicable law.

Every disclaimer, exclusion and limitation contained in these Terms applies only to the extent permitted by applicable law.

!
PROJECT-SPECIFIC AGREEMENTS An accepted commercial agreement may contain additional or different liability provisions.

Where specific warranty, remedy, indemnity, insurance or liability terms are expressly agreed for a project, those terms apply together with these general Terms & Conditions and applicable law.
